From the very start, to the very end, everything went like clockwork. We hardly noticed the transition from one part to the next as the organisation was seamless. We felt the staff just went about their business quietly and effectively, making sure all of our guests were really well looked after. We have lost count of the amount of people who have said it was the best wedding the have ever been to, and many have mentioned that the venue and staff were outstanding.
We would also like to specifically mention the food. Again, so many people have said they were amazed how good the food was considering how many people were being catered for. Again, the staff were quiet and efficient, and we certainly felt we picked the right menu!!
The evening do was also excellent - we have rarely seen so many of our family and friends enjoying themselves so much. The music was great, and the atmosphere relaxed.
Everybody that stayed at the castle enjoyed the rooms, and those that managed breakfast the next day left well fed again.”

Susan our Front of House is a Clearwell star! She masks the pressurised task of being responsible for your entire wedding day with a kind of dazzle camouflage- nothing is too much trouble, always a smile and always a solution. What is quite exceptional about this place is that everyone we had the pleasure of coming into contact with was absolutely delightful! The most exceptional standards are maintained right across the board. There is a real sense of team work and pride to work in such a beautiful place and provide people with a magical experience that will remain with them for all their days- thank you thank you thank you to you all.

Our wedding day was truly magical and that is down to the professionalism and care you provide to the bride and groom. The attention to detail is meticulous and we can not fault anything! Our planning meeting with Liz covered every aspect of the wedding and any questions were answered immediately by staff on the telephone or via e-mail. The staff were always efficient and polite.
On our wedding day, I felt like a princess and was treated as such by the team and Esther. The staff who served were at all times extremely helpful, cheerful and polite, and timings were impeccable. And of course the Castle, its grounds and bedrooms all speak for themselves - truly magnificent!

The house, grounds and bedrooms were all perfectly clean and presented. The food was plentiful and very nice and Elise, our Front of House manager, arranged a birthday cake for my godson who turned 2 the morning after the wedding. She got everyone singing 'Happy Birthday' and it was a lovely touch. I am also really glad I stayed in the Bridal Cottage the night before the wedding and would recommend doing so to all brides-to-be.
Apart from the beautiful scenery it was all the unexpected little touches that made our day special. Things like the 'shot for the Bride' from the bar staff, the digital sign in the disco saying 'Congratulations Mr and Mrs Rose' and the gifts of the Clearwell Castle bathrobes will always be remembered. The unexpected tray of hot croissants delivered to the cottage as me and the Bridal Party were getting ready were greatly appreciated!
