Treat your guests to something different on your day – choose sweets to match your colour scheme or choose old favourites that your guests will all remember from school days. We can also arrange candy jars as fun table decorations and sweets as favours – a unique touch for your special day. Talk to your Front of House Manager or contact us on 01245 362 555 if you have any sweet ideas of your own.

Please contact us on 01245 362 555 regarding our in-house chair covering service. Laundered and set up by our specially trained staff, we can provide these both inside and outside and have a range of sashes to match any colour scheme.
Accessories- Favours
Provide your guests with a special treat when they sit down for your wedding breakfast! We can provide miniature bottles of Absolute Vodka, Gordon’s Gin, Famous Grouse Whiskey, Baileys, Tia Maria and many more as well as mini bottles of Sparkling wine and mini bottles of Champagne. We can also provide bags of sweets from our Candy Stand range for children (and big kids)! Accessories- Menu / Table Number Stands
We are able to provide you with silver stands to hold menus and table numbers for your wedding. These are available to hire at £20 plus VAT for the stands only or at £60 plus VAT including up to 20 personalised menu cards for your day.

Our experienced in house chefs can create your wedding cake to order. We offer a range of wedding cakes, from the traditional to the unusual all of which are sure to impress your guests! Letting us organise your wedding cake will give you one less thing to worry about!
Accessories- Wedding Stationery
We can offer you a wide selection of Leez Priory personalised wedding stationery, ranging from save the date cards to menu cards. We can ensure that stationery is posted to you within 48 hours of your proof.
Accommodation- Bedrooms and Bridal Suite
Leez Priory Essex wedding venue offers you fifteen sumptuous bedrooms including a Bridal Suite complete with four poster bed and spa bath. All bedrooms are exclusively reserved for you and your guests on your wedding night. An early check-in is guaranteed so that your chosen friends and family can arrive from Midday to get ready in good time for your wedding ceremony. A full English breakfast is served the following morning, providing the perfect end to your stay at Leez Priory.

Accommodation- Bridal Cottage for the Night Before the Wedding
What better way to start your day than arriving the night before! Our Lakeside cottage is reserved exclusively for the Bride and Bridal Party from 5pm the night before the wedding. We can arrange food and wine for your arrival and a selection of girly DVDs and CDs are available for you so that you can really enjoy your last night of freedom! You might even decide to arrange for a local Essex beautician from our recommended list to meet you at the Cottage the night before or the following morning for some pampering in preparation for your big day! One of the best things about staying in the Lakeside cottage is the view from your bedroom window - waking up to views of Leez Priory's Great Tudor Tower is the perfect start to a perfect day! Breakfast is also provided for you. You may decide to get ready in the Lakeside cottage or move to the dressing rooms, situated in the main house from 9am to get ready. The dressing rooms overlook the inner courtyard and so you can watch your guests arriving for your wedding day!
Accommodation- Two Night Stays
Upgrade your big day to a two night stay. You can arrive from 5pm for pre-dinner drinks, followed by an informal dinner with wine and full bar facilities, overnight accommodation and a full English breakfast. Contact Annabelle on 01245 362 555 for more details.

Leez Priory in Essex is nestled in forty acres of grounds boasting two lakes and manicured croquet lawns within stunning inner courtyard which offers two picturesque outdoor settings perfect for a spring or summer wedding, set against the back drop of the stunning Great Tudor Tower. The grounds are exclusively yours to enjoy for your wedding day and if you explore a little further you will find our secret gardens and the ruins of the original Essex Priory. Bespoke Wedding Services- Dedicated Front of House Manager
Leez Priory Essex Wedding Venue has a dedicated team of wedding planners to help you plan your day from the time at which you book your date until you meet your own personal Front of House Manager at your planning meeting about 10 - 12 weeks before your wedding day. Your Front of House Manager will advise you on all aspects of your day and will be with you from 9am on the morning of your wedding, to ensure that your wedding day runs smoothly and that every detail is attended to.

Bespoke Wedding Services- Wedding Flowers
Leez Priory Essex Wedding Venue is used exclusively for Weddings and we work closely with local florists who supply quality silk flowers in keeping with out Essex venue and the occasion. Pedestals and various other arrangements throughout the house, made up of neutral creams and greens mean that you do not need to spend a fortune on wedding flowers.
Corporate Responsibility
People often assume that old buildings are very environmentally unfriendly but that really doesn’t have to be the case. We have been working with environmental consultants and the Carbon Trust and have been able to make many small but significant changes to our Essex venues- heating the houses with efficient boilers, thermostats on hot water tanks, heaters and lights on time clocks, energy efficient light bulbs, pipe and loft insulation and of course we recycle all glass, cans, paper and plastic. These are things our Bride and Grooms would never notice but they make a big difference to our carbon output.

Leez Priory in Essex has a stunning original Oak Bar which is fully stocked with all your favourite beverages. During the day, you and your guests can enjoy Pimms, Champagne and cocktails in the Bar and reception rooms or outside in the carriageway on sunny days and in the evening, the selection of beers, spirits, wines and Champagnes ensures there is something for everyone. We can even order in special beverages just for your day to ensure your special day is exactly as you dreamt.

We strive to support local Essex businesses that produce quality ingredients, which in turn ensures that our catering continues to exceed our guests’ expectations. All our vegetables are grown locally and our cheese selection includes some of the finest local cheeses. We also ensure that wherever possible we only purchase Fish from sustainable Fisheries which follow strictly eco-friendly practices and Fish are never sourced from controversial origins.
Food and Beverage- Fairtrade Produce
All our tea and coffee products carry the Fairtrade label ensuring that disadvantaged producers in developing countries are getting a better deal. We also offer an excellent selection of wines to compliment your menu, including a Fairtrade and Organic selection.

Our fabulous Head Chef Paul and his team will work with you and your Front of House Manager to create your perfect menu for your special day- from dipped strawberries to canapes and the wedding breakfast to your wedding cake- we pride ourselves on offering first class food. Much of the great tastings food you will be feasting on is sourced locally from rural Essex.
Food and Beverage- Free Range Produce
We are responsible and ethical when purchasing products. Our chefs aim to use only free range Chicken, Turkey, pork and eggs. Our Gressingham Ducks come from Maple Tree Farm in Suffolk and our beef and Lamb are British. We ensure that wherever possible we only purchase Fish from sustainable Fisheries which follow strictly eco-friendly practices and do not source their Fish from controversial origins.

We grow our own seasonal vegetables and herbs which our Head Chef uses to supplement your freshly prepared Wedding Breakfast.

A unique guest book idea- our beautiful Leez Priory prints showing off our magnificent Essex Country House by local artists Rod Brown and David Brindley can be purchased and handed around your reception for guests to write tributes on the mount. Ask your Front of House Manager for more details.
Wedding Ceremonies- Civil Ceremonies, Civil Partnerships and Churches
Leez Priory in Essex has been holding Civil ceremonies in the Great Tower since May 1995 and indeed this setting was the first in Essex and the whole of England to be granted a civil licence! Since then Leez Priory in Essex has licensed several other settings including the Carriageway arch and Tower arch- two outdoor settings which are ideal for Spring and Summer weddings, and the Great Hall and Coach House. All ceremony locations are reserved exclusively for you – there are so many to choose from, you will be spoilt for choice! For those of you living locally, you may decide to marry in a village church and host wedding your reception at Leez Priory Essex wedding venue.
