A family-owned and run business with over 30 years' experience of making wedding day dreams come true.

As the UK’s longest established wedding venue group, we specialise in exclusive use wedding venues across England that suit all tastes and requirements. Our beautiful country houses have been cherry-picked with one sole purpose in mind: your dream wedding.

Founded in 1988, Country House Weddings Ltd is the UK’s longest-established group of wedding venues. Family-owned and managed to this day, we’ve taken great care in selecting and purchasing our six stunning country houses – Leez Priory, Clearwell Castle, St Audries Park, Gosfield Hall, Holmewood Hall and, new for 2020, Bourton Hall.

Unlike many other wedding venues, each of our houses is used purely to host weddings – up to 250 per year – enabling our customers to enjoy a tailor-made wedding experience. It’s simply all we do.

We take great pride in our customer service and are constantly striving to improve and update our business in line with customer requests. Every couple’s ideas for their big day are unique, and we pride ourselves on making those dreams a reality.

Each venue has its own complete team of staff and managers, all permanently employed and trained to uphold the unique and exceptional standards of Country House Weddings. With no agency staff or outside caterers, every single employee is dedicated purely to fulfilling the Country House Weddings promise of a perfect wedding day.

We are proud to own our beautiful venues and believe that one of the keys to our success is that our couples can trust the Country House Weddings brand and enjoy the security that our success brings. The awards we’ve won as a group and the testimonials from our couples are testament to the quality of our venues and the expertise of our staff.

Royal palace – 2004

A stunning former royal palace, Gosfield Hall, becomes the most recent addition to the CHW portfolio.
